About - HKPO Veterans Academy

HISTORY

HKPO is a Small, Woman-Owned business founded in 2006 with a mission to train and support our clients on how to continuously improve and Change for the Better using Lean Six Sigma Methodology.

Over the past 15+ years, we’ve served every major industry, including the public sector, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, commercial industrial, energy, retail, pharmaceutical, medical device, technology, and nonprofits. Across each of these complex environments, HKPO resources have trained over 75,000 individuals in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Innovation, Project Management, Problem Solving, and Leadership. HKPO has helped our clients save over $3 Billion while improving customer satisfaction and employee performance.

Seeing a need

…to support our transitioning service members, the HKPO Veterans Academy was incorporated in 2022 as the non-profit division of HKPO. Over the course of our first year, our team worked tirelessly to develop a multi-faceted and one-of-a-kind curriculum that focused on both training, industry experience, and certifications, but also on mentorship and development of our cohort members with the goal of eradicating the struggles, stress, and confusion of military transition.

It is with great privilege that I officially announce my role as President of the Board of Directors for the HKPO Veterans Academy. Our HKPO Veterans Academy supports our transitioning military community by providing education and training for industry-recognized certifications, building professional networks, and providing mentorship along with the necessary resources that enable their transition from the military community into civilian employment. We are thrilled to announce our Board of Directors and bring forward their passion to drive our mission.
